Our hourly fees are relatively low when compared with other law firms in Portland. We try to keep our rates affordable for small businesses and individuals. We will provide you with a general estimate of what we think the total fees will come to in your case, and typically charge a retainer of one-half (½) of that estimated fee. We will also bill you monthly for services performed, and provide you with a detailed, itemized bill.

Some matters (i.e., basic wills, living wills, powers of attorney, etc.) will be billed on a flat basis, regardless of the amount of time it takes to perform those services for you.

Most plaintiff's lawsuits will be handled on a contingency fee basis, charging a reasonable portion of the amount recovered, not to exceed one third (1/3) of the recovery.
